New High-Energy Venues And Upscale Dining Redefine Old Town Scottsdale

Old Town Scottsdale nightlife is radiant this summer, with multiple new venues opening since June in the Entertainment District, alongside a $40 million city initiative to refresh infrastructure, parking and pedestrian zones.

“Everyone is revamping, leveling up, chasing a more polished, elevated crowd,” said Gem Ray, known as the “King of Scottsdale Nights” for curating VIP experiences. “Cleaner looks, tighter dress codes, better entertainment. Old Town is entering its luxury era.”

New in Old Town Scottsdale:

Shiv Supper Club — A fine-dining supper club opened May 14, offering bold cuisine, immersive entertainment, and nightlife flair.
Maya Day + Night — Relaunched early summer after a full transformation, emerging as a luxe, high-energy day-to-night venue.
The Kill Club — A new edgy yet refined lounge at 7318 E. Stetson Drive.
F/Sixteen (F16 Lounge) — A modern twist on the diner, serving comfort food with style inside The REMI. Scottsdale.
Sexy Roman — A dramatic, upscale Italian restaurant that opened in June inside the W Scottsdale, led by a James Beard–nominated chef.
Anhelo — Relocated to Old Town with a lush, secret-garden ambiance and elevated tasting menus.

The REMI.: Scottsdale’s Shining Star

Opened in the heart of the Hospitality District, The REMI. Scottsdale, Autograph Collection is a boutique hotel from Crescent Hotels & Resorts blending sophisticated design with social energy. $40 Million Revitalization in Motion

The nightlife revival is paralleled by a major public commitment: a $40 million revitalization for Old Town in fiscal 2025–26. The “Spruce Up Old Town” phase is already visible in freshly painted garages, improved pedestrian zones, upgraded signage, and lighting. Larger projects ahead include a Brown Avenue garage expansion, a new Entertainment District garage, and streetscape enhancements on Main Street.

City Manager Greg Caton emphasizes the alignment of private investment and public upgrades. “The options for consumers are considerable, so we must deliver an exceptional experience in Old Town,” he said.

With even more venues on the horizon — like Pinyon and Ponderosa — Ray said now is the prime time to experience Old Town’s nightlife. “People come for the golf, the spas, the sunshine.
